Give Thanks to God - Bible Verses of Thanksgiving
Bible Verses of Thanks
Giving thanks is not just a for holidays with parades and turkeys. Giving thanks is stopping every day to take inventory on all the blessings God has bestowed on you.
Living a grateful life will help you to life a happy life. We cannot take for granted all that is around us.
Many will remember to say grace over their meal. Many will even list things that they are grateful for. But we must also remember WHO we are thankful to. Don't just say you are "grateful for", say you are "grateful to God for".
Give thanks to God throughout your day!

Ceremony of Thanksgiving - Verses of Thanks
For Church Services, Bible Studies, or Family Devotions
Print each of these verses out, and cut them so that each verse is on its own little slip of paper. Place the slips into a bowl, plate, or bag.
With your group in a circle, pass the bowl around so everyone can chose a verse. Then go around having each person read their verse and then share with the group one thing they are grateful to God for.
This could also be incorporated into the worship service. Attach one verse to each person's worship bulletin. During the service, the leader can randomly call on someone in the church to share what they are thankful for. They can stand, tell something they are thankful for, and then read there verse. Intermingle choruses about thanks for a memorable and meaningful service.
